If you are WTEA member, a parent or community member we welcome you to visit the WTEA website. Below is some information about the WTEA that you may find interesting.

• The WTEA is the association for the teachers and secretaries who work for the Washington Township Board of Education.
• We have 940 Members.
• We have been in existence for approximately 40 years.
• Our members are also members of NEA, NJEA, and the Gloucester County Education Association.
  
• Our leadership consist of :
  
  A President & a 13 Member Executive Committee
  
  14 Senior Building Reps & 45+ Building Reps
  
• Monthly Meetings :
  
  Executive Committee Meetings are held the first Monday of each month.
  
  Rep Council Meetings are held the third Thursday of each month.
  
• Philanthropic Activities :
  
  WTPR Team Sponsorship
  
  Scholarship for Graduating Seniors
  
  Local and National Charities
  
  WT Education Foundation Contributor
  
• Pride Committee :
  
  Our seven (7) Elementary School Libraries have received $19,600 from 2006 – 2009.
  
  Project Graduation has received $18,000 from 2006-2009.
  
  Our schools’ PTO/HSC received $15,000 to help with their Back to School expenses from 2005-2009.
  
• Charities :
  
  Our schools hold fundraisers for local and national charities. The contributions come to thousands of dollars each school year.
